Alex is now a Youth Patron for Ambitious about Autism
Written on 16th Nov 2013 by Sylvia Lowery
Alex is keen to improve life for children and young people who have autism and feels his involvement as a Youth Patron is an exciting opportunity to do this.
Here is how the role is explained.
The “Our Youth Patrons ensure that all the work we do at Ambitious about Autism reflects the views and needs of children and young people with autism. They also act as ambassadors for the charity by directly influencing policy and decision makers, the media and the general public.
In addition our Youth Patrons are members of our Youth Council. They meet with members of our Executive team and Trustee board three times a year. The Youth Council provides the opportunity for young people with autism to contribute and influence our work and to gain opportunities for personal development.”

Alex’s official invitation.
