This is Autism by Megan Horan

Hi everyone! Today we have a guest blog post by Megan Horan who is also on the autism spectrum. Feel free to check out Megan’s Facebook page through the link here.
As this April autism acceptance month is over ( guilty of not doing anything during this month) this is what I want to say.

Autism has no look at all, I am the same as any female in society, I have eyes to see, a mouth to speak, ears to listen, a brain to learn, with hands to guide me to any path I want to take. I go to work, I pay bills, I see friends, I have a boyfriend, I go to the shops and pay for my monthly food. I do all of these normal human being things as I have to be part of the society, I follow the rules of the law, and I never got into trouble at all. I try and do well in school in the past and I never forgive up.
Here I am now still standing in the society and educating many others about autism as there is more to be down and it’s going to be hard and tough however I know I am making a difference. Autism is me and I know that however I am just Megan who has a different brain to yours and that is okay. Because I prefer to be different than the same as it can be boring.
